Hydration on the Jobsite

Hydration in the Jobsite

Dehydration or poor hydration is a challenge many of us blue colllar guys and gals face daily. Strenuous work in all types of conditions can lead us down the road of poor hydration. Combating this is not always as easy as drinking a bottle of water.

During perspiration we are depleting things in our body like: Vitamin B-complex(B1,B2,B3,B5,B6,B7,B9,B12), Vitamin C, Zinc, Magnesium, Sodium, Calcium and Potassium. These things aren’t in a bottle of water. The effects of depleting these vital minerals and vitamins are listed below.

Vitamin B Complex(B1,B2,B3,B5,B6,B7,B9,B12):

-Weakness and tiredness,
-Heart palpitations and shortness of breath.

Vitamin C:

Im writing this for you. I know the importance, Ive passed out on the job before I’ve suffered from almost all the issues listed above, Its not fun. Ive been on those jobs where you just cant drink water fast enough. Im hear telling you water isn’t always enough, You need to replenish!
